poisonous plants. Seriously, I'm not usually one for the eradication of any species (even mosquitos have their purpose) but I'm willing to make an exception for poison ivy/oak/sumac. I'm now on week two of the great rashy, blistery adventure and suffice to say I think I'd rather be dealing with my wisdom teeth again.
Truth be told, the rash isn't the worst of it. The fact that my right forearm is significantly swollen is definitely in the top five reasons I never want to see a three-leafed, red tinted plant again so long as I live....GAH!!
Beyond the current health issue, I'd say things are going pretty well on the overall. I really need to sit down and allocate some time to drawing, and I need to finish making the ring-winding rig so my wife and I can really get going on this chainmail thing. Work is currently more of a pain than usual, due to circumstances well beyond my control, and as such is really cutting into my time for a lot of other things.
Halloween, as usual was a blast. We dressed the kiddo up as Digiko (from the DigiCharat manga) and I have to say she was spot on...I think we may have a future cosplayer on our hands. My wife reprised her zombie costume and scared quite a few neighborhood kids silly. She'd lay down on the porch looking all corpse-like and then as they came up, she'd slowly sit up. (I never realized that you could shamble while seated but she pulled it off).
Well I think that's about all I've got for now...Seems weird actually posting something other than "I'm not dead" on this blog, but it's a good kind of weird...Might see about doing it more often...
Take care all!
